We offer the Ultimate Adventure on our Glass Bottom LED illuminated Kayak Night Tours! In fact no one else offers this experience anywhere in the world with how we feed the fish and the extremely powerful self developed underwater light system that we use! At our main tour site, we'll first visit a bird sanctuary mangrove island with several species of seabirds that make it their home. Sometimes they'll fly from the island and come so close, you can feel the air from their wings as they pass by you! We'll then paddle down protected waterways & see amazing underwater views along with feeding fish on our Eco tours which is fun for everyone! There's times when the fish get so close we actually pet or scratch their heads! Depending on the season, you may also see Crabs, Stingrays, Shrimp, Conch, Manta Rays, Dolphins and other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us on our clear bottom kayaks. With literally nothing to do at night in the Water Sports Industry, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours are perfect for families, groups, friends, or an unforgettable date night under the stars. Our tour locations are phenomenal as they have an abundance of grass flats, sand bars, oyster beds, rocks and sea-life to view with our custom underwater LED lights. Our Tour site is calm & protected from rough water so if you've never kayaked before, it's no big deal it's very safe!

Capt Yak offers Year-Round Guided Kayak Tours just 10 minutes from St. Pete beach. Tour departure times are based on the tide and weather to ensure the easiest and most enjoyable paddle. The sit-on-top kayaks used for tours are manufactured for the tour industry and kayak fishing. This means they are very stable and provide for easy paddling. All the kayaks are equipped with seats that are padded and have adjustable back support. This plays a vital role in your comfort and paddling ease. Dry bags for towels and other essentials along with waterproof phone cases are supplied free of charge. Capt Yak has been offering Guided Kayak Tours at Shell Key Preserve since 2017. Not only being very familiar with and knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife, Capt Yak is recently retired from a 30-year career in the Zoological Field. In his experience he has worked, managed, and cared for animals in zoological institutions, conducted field research worldwide and lead and participated in fundraising efforts for conservation issues. He is still very active in fundraising for various conservation causes. Just ask and he will happy to share some fun stories.

We deliver to Gandy Beach, Coffee Pot Park, Crisp Park, downtown St. Pete, access to Shell Key, Clam Bayou. If you have water access we will deliver to your home. Our kayaks are recreational and fishing kayaks. We offer sunset tours, team building exercises. During the months of May through end of September we do the bioluminescence tours.
